Terms and Conditions of the Service
- Introduction
I would like to ensure clarity so that you can have a positive experience, avoiding any possible misunderstandings with the points below. Please, read these terms and conditions carefully before booking my services. By purchasing lessons from me you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. The provision of information and services on this website by the owner is subject to your agreement to the terms and conditions below.

★ ★ Instant Booking
◉ To offer as much flexibility as possible for those of you who have a hectic agenda, the minimum allowed time before booking Single Lessons is 30 min. However, this may vary on weekends and special days. So, if you want to book a single lesson only 30 min in advance and the system doesn’t allow you, contact me via our regular means of communication. Bear in mind that, when you book less than 24 hours in advance you won’t be able to cancel or reschedule the lesson, according to the cancellation policy below. If you happen to make a mistake while booking an in-person lesson without a previous agreement you will be refunded (except for the payment system’s commissions) or rescheduled depending on your preference.
★ ★ Cancellation Policy
◉ As a general rule, you are not allowed to reschedule or cancel Single Lessons within 24 hours before their scheduled beginning. You need to understand that with less than 24 hours it is very difficult for me to occupy that slot with another student. However, exceptionally, if you have an accident, an emergency, or there has been an honest misunderstanding, I will let you reschedule the lesson. In the case of packages of lessons, coupons, gift cards, and Weekly Lessons cancellations are not allowed.
★ ★ Technical issues on online lessons
- ◉You need to ensure you have an adequate device, software, and Internet connection for every lesson. If there is a technical problem on your side that prevents us from having the lesson, I will try my very best to help you fix the problem. But if it is not possible, the lesson will be considered completed. By connecting 5 min before the lesson, you can sometimes fix problems to make sure you start the lesson on time.
★ ★ Punctuality
◉ Lessons begin and end at the scheduled time. Your delays will be lost time from the lesson. My delays will be compensated by extending the lesson or extending future lessons, depending on my availability.
★ ★ Teacher’s Illness or Emergency
◉ I reserve myself the right to reschedule a lesson in case of illness or schedule conflict with my professional agenda with a minimum of 12h notice before the scheduled beginning of the lesson.
◉ In the unlikely event that I wouldn’t show up to our scheduled lesson (emergency, accident, illness, technical issue…) you would decide if you would want to reschedule the lesson or get a refund. In addition, as compensation, I can issue a 50% discount coupon for the next purchase of one single lesson.
★ ★ Technical requirements for online lessons
◉ Device: You need to connect to the lesson using a computer or tablet to properly access all the materials of the designed lesson. Only for conversation practice, you can connect with a mobile phone, although you would be missing out on the full designed experience of the lesson.
◉ Internet speed: You need to make sure you reach the minimum connection speed for video calls on your chosen software (Skype, Hangouts, Zoom, Gruveo…). I will provide you with all the information you might need on this during our free interview or before your trial lesson.
- ★★ Adult learners
- ◉ Please beware that I only teach adults. If you book lessons for children or teenagers, I will be obliged to cancel the lessons. You will be refunded the money except for the payment system’s commissions.
★ ★ In-person lessons in Madrid capital
◉ You must provide the meeting place or choose your favorite coffee shop to hold our lessons. But I am only available for in-person lessons within a 30-40 min commuting distance from where I am currently based (in between Metro station’s Colombia and Alfonso XIII in Madrid Capital).
★ ★ Free Meeting and Free Trial lesson
◉ You are under absolutely no obligation to take any more lessons after the meeting or trial lesson. You are only allowed one free meeting and one free trial lesson per lifetime. 😉
★ ★ Payments
◉ All prices on the website are final prices. All taxes are included in the shown prices.
◉ Make sure you have selected the correct service or product you want to buy or subscribe to before confirming your payment. I am not responsible for any additional bank fees, interest charges, finance charges, payment gateway charges and commissions, over-draft charges, currency exchange fees, or any other fee. ◉ All lessons are paid in advance.
★ ★ Lessons and Packages
◉ If in any case, the lesson exceeds the programmed time by mutual agreement there will be no extra charge. If the lesson has finished or it is improperly canceled there is no refund possible.
◉ If you are late there will be a maximum of 30 min waiting. After that, the lesson will be considered a No-show. No-shows will be charged as a lesson.
◉ Please be aware that Packages have an expiration date counting from the day of the purchase.
★ ★ Refunds
◉ If in any case, you ask for a refund, the lessons already completed will not be refunded.
Refunds do not include the payment system’s commissions or any other possible fee or commission.
