Practice & content: a cumulative-progress approach

Cumulative progress: methodolgy to learn Spanish from Madrid

Repetition and review are both keys to success in language learning. Breaking topics down makes the lessons less challenging. I combine both in a spiralish program, with carefully designed in-lesson practice and home practice with outstanding results.

Sharing powerpoint in online Spanish lesson

Materials

Unlike other unprepared teachers with no materials, who type all explanations on the chat, or dizzying lessons where you are constantly switching from a Google doc to an online whiteboard, then to a shared screen where you partially see an ebook, and back again to… I prepare everything the student needs for the lesson in a PowerPoint. I share my screen during the lesson and, after the lesson, I send it in a pdf. One activity, one slide.

I have spent endless hours during 2 years designing this massive collection of lessons, specially adapted to video call lessons. I believe is one of the differential aspects of my services. Combining my own games and exercises with only 10% of the content of each textbook, I follow the laws on copyright.

The base

This collection, written by the same instructors who trained me at International House Madrid, follows their proven methodology. But I especially love it because it breaks down topics into manageable bits.
